Five Star Wine & Spirits is seeking applicants for an on-premise Account Manager for Palm Springs and Downtown San Francisco (please note, these are two distinct territories!). You must live within the territory to apply!
Objectives: To open and service on-premise accounts within the territory. This territory is currently moderately developed but under-serviced.
Products: Spirits only (No wines) which include Porfidio (www.porfidio.eu), Kauffman Vodka (www.kauffmanvodka.us), Matisse Whisky (www.matissewhisky.com) , G'Vine Gin (www.g-vine.com), U'luvka Vodka (www.uluvka.com).
Compensation: 40.00% Commission on all sales to on-premise accounts. NO BASE SALARY. Gas reimbursement fee based on call reports received. Gas reimbursement can be $400 to $500 per month depending on call reports turned in. Average Account Managers in their first year earn between $1,500 and $3,500 per month. After hard work for the first year, the potential is unlimited. DO NOT call/email/come to an interview if you are looking for a position with a base salary.
Position type: 1099 Independent contractor paid directly by the manufacturer once per month.
About us: Five Star Wine & Spirits is a luxury niche independent import and wholesale company based in Southern California. We specialize in high-end spirits only (no wines currently). We are currently seeking to expand our on-premise placement in this territory.
Requirements: Someone ready to sell, hit the pavement, loves interacting with people and getting results. At least 1 - 2 years outside sales experience required, but not necessarily from this industry. Must have a reliable car. Must occasionally be able to lift up to 40lbs. Easygoing personality preferred but must know how to close deals. Housing and mortgage industry experience can be a plus.
